Best featureI bought this Audi to be used as a family car, but I got so much more from it. The design is modern even though the car is already five years old. My Audi A4 is white and dark accents around the headlights, at the bottom of the side mirrors and around the side windows really add a lot of subtle aggression due to the contrast they make against the white paint. I love the look of this car from every angle. The interior is even better. The quality is simply amazing and materials look as good as new after all this time. Nothing squeaks, or cracks and all the controls are pleasant to touch, soft and elegant. I have leather seats in my A4 and they still provide great support and are very comfortable. The navigation and multimedia screen is placed pretty high up, so it is easy to use while driving. All the controls are at hand – the ones on the central console seemed fairly complicated for quick use without looking when I was buying the car, but they can be used intuitively after you’ve spent some time behind the wheel. Even the window and locking controls on the door are pulled to the front and tilted for easy operation. The entire car is controlled from a small and comfortable area. Driving is a real pleasure. The 2.0l diesel has enough power to give you quick and safe overtakes and the fact that it is a manual is just a plus in my book. You don’t need to shift very often because the diesel has enough power to pull the car to speeds from any gear. Additionally, the Audi A4 is very fuel efficient. After five years of extensive use in various conditions, I can say that it uses between 4 and 6.5 liters of fuel per 100km, depending on the conditions on the road.
There are only few downsides to the Audi A4. First of all, the fact that the services aren’t really cheap and I want to perform them regularly so that I can have a reliable car for my family. The same goes for the price of the car. The A4 is an expensive car, but well worth the money.
Secondly, as the children grow up, we might require more space for longer trips. It is not cramped, but the Audi A6 seems more and more appealing only due to the fact that it is bigger than my A4.
