Best featureMy Audi Q3 is the top of the range RS model. It was the most expensive one, but it also had the most powerful engine, high end equipment and great looks. The engine I have in the Audi RS Q3 has the displacement of 2.5 L and it packs 310 HP which are more than enough to provide loads of fun in the car that is less than 1800 kg heavy. It reaches 100 kilometers per hour in less than 5.5 seconds, while the top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h. My Audi has a seven-speed automatic gearbox and all-wheel-drive. All these things work together so that, whenever you press the gas pedal, you get instant surge of power. In addition, the fuel consumption is pretty good. In the city it can come up to 13 l/100km, while on the highway I have managed to get 7 l/100 km. My average fuel consumption comes to just above 9 l/100 km. On the outside, the Q3 is very stylish. Even though it has descending roof line towards the end, visibility is very good. In all honesty, it looks like many other cars in its class, but I like this look – it’s very sporty and confidence inspiring. On the inside, it’s even better. Materials are of amazingly high-quality and the finish is just perfect. I absolutely love the flipping multimedia display which is placed on top of the dashboard for great visibility, but, when not in use, it folds down into the dashboard never impeding the design. The seats are very comfortable and great for longer journeys. And I absolutely love the self-parking function. The car is pretty high and large, so parking in tight spaces can be a problem even with parking sensors. Since I’m driving my family a lot, safety is very important. The Q3 has a Five Star Euro NCAP rating, which is as good as it gets.
As for the bad stuff, I would have to mention the fact that when I’m driving slowly the steering is unnaturally light. Some people like this, but it’s definitely not my cup of tea. Anyway, at higher speeds things are a lot better.
The boot has the capacity of 367 l. This is not small, but it’s not huge either.
The biggest disappointment was the legroom for the front passenger. I can’t really say there’s no room, but even some smaller cars give more comfort for the front passenger.
