Who is Integrisure?
Integrisure is an insurance brokerage company that offers short term insurance products and solutions. Integrisure’s products are underwritten by many of the leading South African insurance companies. Arnold van der Linde is the current executive chairman of Integrisure.
Where are the Integrisure offices located?
Integrisure’s main office is located in Clearwater Office Park – Building 4, 1st floor – Cnr. Christiaan de Wet & Millennium Boulevard Strubens Valley Ext. 12 Roodepoort 1724. Their postal address is P.O. Box 2174 Florida Hills 1716.
What services does Integrisure offer?
Integrisure offers both short term insurance options, as well as business/commercial insurance. In terms of their short term options, they have car insurance and home insurance. Somewhat unique to Integrisure, their insurance options are divided into two groups, those for individuals over 50 years of age, called “Goldsure”, and those under 50 years of age, called “Clearsure”. Although divided into two separate groups, the features and benefits seem to be identical for both groups. However, according to their website, the products and rates are driven by the different lifestyles of those over and under 50 years of age, so although both groups offer the same products, we assume that the rates are different – but still, no point in having two pages with the same content.
In terms of car insurance, Integrisure outlines the various features of their policy, including:
- Fast and efficient claims service (which isn’t really an actual feature as all companies claim to offer this).
- Motor vehicle replacement – if loss happens within the first year and has no more than 30 000 km;>
- Additional coverage, including medical expenses and trauma coverage, in the event of a hi-jacking (or an attempted hi-jacking);
- IntegriAssist – free emergency assistance – 24 hours a day/7 days a week;
- Motor claims service – 24 hours a day/7 days a week;
Integrisure also offers the following additional benefits:
- Death benefit plan;
- Hospital cash plan;
- Monthly vehicle warranty plan;
- MaxiCare – appliance and electronic maintenance coverage.
How user-friendly is Integrisure’s website?
When opening Integrisure’s website, initially we thought it would be very helpful and have useful information. Unfortunately, that proved to be incorrect. Although navigating the website is fairly easy, the information sought after by potential customers was very limited. This was true both in terms of the company’s history, as well as information regarding the car insurance options. In searching for information about the company’s background and history (something that we always advise doing), we were unable to identify when the company was established or find other basic details. Additionally, it was unclear if Integrisure was a brokerage company or a direct insurance service provider or perhaps both. The website provides no details about the types of vehicle insurance coverage, but rather lists features and benefits (some of which are generic ‘features’ like “fast service”). Overall, we did not find Integrisure’s website helpful and would advise a few changes which would help improve the user’s experience and save both the customers and company’s phone agents time seeing how many of the customer’s questions would have already been answered.
How to file a claim with Integrisure
Although one of the features that Integrisure lists on their website is “fast and effective claims service”, we were unable to find any information regarding filing a claim even though we spent some time searching for this information on the website. Integrisure’s general phone number is listed at the top of their website and a link to manage one’s policy online was noted on their homepage, but no specifics were stated about filing a claim.
What are the customer reviews of Integrisure?
In looking at hellopeter, Integrisure only received 25 reports in the past year, which is a very small number of reports compared to other insurance companies, which presumably indicates the company’s size (or otherwise almost none of their customers are filing reports which seems unusual). Of those 25 reports filed, 28% were compliments, while 72% were complaints. That’s about 2 ½ times more complaints than compliments which isn’t great (even though we’ve seen worse – see our other Insurance Company Reviews). In looking at the nature of complaints, none of the categories were particularly high, aside for the “other” category which was almost 50% of the complaints. That being said, it is impossible to even determine what almost half of the complaints were about. Knowing that, it is very hard to view Integrisure’s reviews in a positive light.
Summary
Integrisure seems to be a small “family” like insurance company that offers various products based on two age groups: those over 50 years old are offered the “Goldsure”, while those under 50 are offered “Clearsure”. One of the challenges we encountered in reviewing Integrisure was a lack of information in terms of what are the differences between the two groups, except for the rates, as the products seemed the same. To add to the above challenge, we found the information about the company and the products lacking any true value and relatively poor customer reviews, which left us with a lot of unanswered questions. Due to the above, we can’t really give our “Thumbs Up” to Integrisure which brings us to our usual advice: be sure to compare between a few companies and don’t forget to get a few online car insurance quotes.
